Making time every week for each other is the number one thing in my opinion. We always have to take the time to talk and if something is taking up that time we need to just eliminate that “something”.
Making our marriages priority is so important. I love hearing about other couple’s success. Just awesome.

Great question, LaTara! I have to agree with Mary. Pray about it. The one thing I wouldn’t suggest is to talk to other people about the situation. Pray and find a way to discuss the issue with your spouse.

You hit it right on point. Of course, once it is lost it has to be rebuilt. Both have to communicate on how that should happen(depending on the problem). For example, adultery – boundaries must be put into place. Just don’t get frustrated in the healing process, it takes time.

That is a really tough question to answer LaTara. I guess it’s all about second chances, maybe even thirds. When asked this question in the past, I try to think “what would Jesus do”. Cliche’ as it sounds, I know Jesus gives us 2nd chances, 3rds and 4th, and I’m so grateful he does!!! So, when our spouses do something to lose our trust, we must pray for them, and for ourselves to, forgive them and give them another chance and probably another.

How do you bounce back and find a way to trust again after your spouse has lost what trust you had in them?
