Wow, I totally understand where you are coming from Latara:) I have to remind myself daily that my children will never clean the house or pick up like I would, but as long as it is clean, it is ok....still working on it:) I too don't like the online organizational calendars, I am very visual as well and when I write things down, it definitely seems to help.

I keep a separate folder for my writings and ideas and when I need some inspiration I go through my folder. I also have a notebook with clear protector pages that I keep other inspirational writings to get me back on track:)

I love lists, so I always have a list in my planner that I write out for the day and one on my cork board above my desk, seeing it through out the day helps me focus on the tasks needed to be accomplished.

At the moment, I am working at getting my office organized and hopefully that will help too:) Thanks Latara for reminding me that being organized is the way to be:)

Tip: Get the DVD of Organizing From the Inside out - you can even get it at the library. Its MUCH more entertaining than reading the book. Maybe you can even get hubby to watch it with you (ask for it as a birthday present or something!) Watch it one time and just enjoy it. The watch it again to catch all the details. Also, I took notes outlining the whole DVD so just email me at Sarah@solutionsforbusymoms.com with the subject "OFTIO Notes" and I'll send the m to you. Watch that DVD a couple of times, with my notes and you'll have her whole system memorized and you'll be ready to go. If you want to order a copy to keep (which I recommend) you can get it here: http://www.solutionsforbusymoms.com/organizingfromtheinsideout
