Living Without Fear
As is the norm with Max Lucado, he has written another book that reminds us about the goodness and grace of our heavenly Father. Every book that Max has written reaches deep down into the core of the human experience and ties it right in with Biblical perspective and wisdom. There has not been a book or resource created by Max that does not make a difference in the life of Believer. It is not different with his latest book, Fearless.
I was excited to sit down and read this book but I had no idea how much it would help me in my current situation.
Fear is almost the norm today with a new President who is a man people now love to hate (more so because of color as opposed to character), a war, laws that go against the Word, people finding every reason too sue, banks being unstable, and jobs being lost every day. It seems as if the world is literally falling apart at the seams.
In Fearless, Max Lucado helps us to see that faith, not fear, can be our default reaction to scary situations. While many of us automatically let fear set in, Lucado reminds us that we can use the blueprint suggested by Christ to stop living in fear.
This was a great book for me to read because I have been dealing with some issues of fear in my own life that have made me feel like I was not worthy to call myself His Child. How can I live in fear and call myself a believer? However after reading Fearless I was able to see that I am exercising my faith when I face my fears with courage.
Fearless is the perfect book for the Believer or anyone who worries or has concerns in these uncertain times.
